Citing and referencing is one of the library's high-impact tutorials based on number of hits, and is often linked to from institutions around the world. As part of the Digital Teaching and Learning team, I was involved in updating this tutorial so that its design and functionality could keep up with the use of newer devices, and changes to learning design practices.
The project was large, with many stakeholders and subject matter experts involved in its development - particularly during the storyboarding process. As part of the Digital Learning and Teaching team, my role in the project was to take the created storyboards and help translate them into engaging and interactive content.
In particular, I created a set of design templates and guidelines that the team could then use to develop each of the modules. This way, we could ensure that each module would be consistent in design and functionality, despite the large number of people who have worked to bring the project to fruition. The Digital Teaching and Learning team has since used the template I created to update other interactive modules created by the library, most notably Academic Integrity.
